Student accounts are current with all payments received by Thursday, January 11th at 4pm. Aramark checks are included through the 12/31/17 game. The accounts also include credit earned if your student worked the pancake breakfast. The Joe Corbi fundraiser is also included. If you have a negative balance, that is what you owe. If your student is going to Florida in February, or if you are chaperoning the Florida trip, that amount is due immediately. UPCOMING EVENTS AT HEINZ FIELD
A big thank you to all the parent volunteers who worked at Heinz Field this football season. Many of us were able to raise enough money to pay for our students' Disney Trips. The next opportunities to volunteer will be for summer concerts. I will be researching the possibility of volunteering at PNC Park this spring and update as I get information. If you are interested in learning more about how to fundraise for your own student, please contact Heather Park at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Scrip gift cards will be delivered at the band parent meeting on Thursday, January 18th.

SYMPHONIC BAND FLORIDA PERFORMANCE UPDATE (1/8/18)
We received notification on Friday 1/5 that the Symphonic Band will NOT have a performance time-slot while in Florida. This is due to the overwhelming number of applicants/schools who would like to perform at WDW during that busy President's Day Weekend. WDW Policy states (new in 2017), one performance time slot is guaranteed for each musical discipline from each school to ensure all schools who area visiting WDW will have an opportunity to perform at least once at WDW. Since marching band is the large band ensemble, Symphonic Band was placed on the wait list since March of 2017. We will adjust the itinerary and release a final itinerary next week.
