Moon Area Band Parent Organization Meeting

The meeting was called to order at 7:07 PM. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
The minutes from the April meeting has been posted. Motion to accept the minutes was made by Denise Wolf and seconded by Sarah Schmitz.
Treasurer’s Report, Joe DeNardo
The Treasurer’s Report was submitted by Joe DeNardo. Motion to accept the Treasurer’s report was made by Cindy Stathers and seconded by Laurie Caraher.
President’s Comments, Sherri Von Stein
Thank you to the volunteers who collected donations and passed out programs for the Spring concerts.
Orchestra concert is tomorrow at 7pm.
Instrumental Music Banquet is coming up this Sunday, May 21.
Prop builders - Builders may be needed this summer to build props for the fall marching show.
Band jackets – There will be a fitting before the Memorial Day parade in the band room. Letters went out to those eligible. If you are eligible and did not receive a letter please contact Denise Wolf.
Alumni – Cindy Bartus –

Concert in the Park, June 4th – Alumni picnic – The alumni will have the Apollo pavilion available with a catered dinner. Reservations are required by May 28th. The cost per person is $15 and is open to anyone. The concert starts at 5:30PM. Volunteers will be needed to assist Linda Rossi on June 4th with setup and clean-up.

Jacket orders - There is a jacket try-on scheduled before the Memorial Day Parade. Orders are due June 9th. Base price of the jacket is $166 + $4/letter.
