FUNDRAINSING
Sarris Easter candy sale are still ongoing. Brochures and order forms are in the band room and attached to the email. Orders are due back March 6.
Spring Fling raffle tickets will be in the mail this week. These tickets are $5 each for a chance for a gift card basket worth $300. This is a general fund fundraiser. It is mandatory.
Also, please consider donating a giftcard for the basket! Every little bit helps! Email me if you are willing to donate! 
Mother's Day Flower baskets: details March 17

Region 22 Tang Soo Do Tournament held at CCBC has given MABPO the opportunity to run concessions again for this year's tournament. Which will be held on Saturday April 26th. This is an all day event starting at 9 am.  This event is usually done and cleaned up around 4.  We will be looking for volunteers to help run the concession stand along with food donations. A sign up genius will be sent out at a later date.    All profit will be given to MABPO.  If you are interested in volunteering with concessions for this event please reach out to Stephanie Haas at email woogitrae@gmail.com  You do not have to be available for the entire day.  This concession stand is not as busy as a Friday night football game.  Last year all those that volunteered had a lot of fun. Hope you will consider coming out and giving us a hand and supporting this community event.

MABPO BOARD VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Currently, there are four positions that will be left vacant as the board member’s student graduates that do not have nominees in place.  If one of these roles would be something in your wheelhouse that you could lend your talent to next year. please reach out to Amy president@moonband.org  Any of the retiring board members are willing to discuss their experience.

Duties of the Vice President- the Vice President shall work in direct coordination with the President. The Vice President shall assume the duties of the President in the President's absence. The VP will perform and carry out tasks necessary for the band to operate successfully throughout the year. Duties shall include, but not be limited to, the solicitation and organization of chaperones for the band’s activities throughout the year, the securing of volunteers to fulfill the roles necessary to support the band, securing donations of materials and food, and the coordination of storage maintenance and movement, as necessary (i.e. band trailers, luggage truck, etc.). The Vice President is authorized to co-sign all checks for payment of MABPO bills.

Duties of the Vice President of Communications – The Vice President of Communications shall oversee the MABPO website and online calendar, organize an email distribution list of all MABPO members, send weekly Newsletter communications, and send other communications as deemed necessary by Executive Board members.

Duties of the Secretary – The Secretary shall record and maintain the minutes of the regular and special meetings of the MABPO. The Secretary shall present the prior month's Minutes at each meeting for approval by the membership, and shall have available at least one (1) year plus the current year of said minutes at meetings. The Secretary shall sign all warrants, papers, and other documentation as required to conduct the business of the MABPO, and shall have the ability to countersign checks. Furthermore, the Secretary shall keep a record of the attending officers and attending members for each regular and special meeting, and shall announce if there is a quorum present at such meetings to conduct business. The Secretary shall keep on record a copy of membership dues payment status. The Secretary shall prepare and send out correspondence pertaining to the business affairs of the MABPO at the request of an officer of the Executive Board.

Please RSVP so we have an approximate headcount for setting up that day. Super Bowl Sunday Game Night RSVP 
Come and join other band parents for a casual night of cards, board games, and the Super Bowl with friends.
What: An evening of camaraderie watching the Super Bowl and joining in card and board games. Pizza is included with the cost. Bring your own beverages. You are also invited to bring a side, dip, appetizer, or dessert to share.
When: Sunday, February 9th at 5:00 pm
Where: Sonoma Ridge Clubhouse
Cost: $10.00 per person - 5.00 for the room rental/ 5.00 for pizza. Payable in cash the night of or to my venmo @Amy-Patterson-83061.

Congratulations! This past weekend, senior clarinetist Nico Schmitz qualified and performed at the PMEA District 1 Band Festival held at Hampton High School.  The guest conductor was Dr. Cheldon Williams from West Virginia University.

Congrats to the MAHS Winter Guard on their first performance of the season this past weekend at the Kiski Area HS Preview Show.  The guard's next show is the WGI Regional at Norwin HS on February 8.
