String Orchestra

The Moon Area High School Orchestra provides all string students with a variety of musical experiences designed to improve their technique, as well as their musical awareness and appreciation. These students enjoy performing music of various styles in additioni to selections from different historical periods. The High School Orchestra performs for Moon Area High School instrumental concerts and events in the community. In the years 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2016, the High School String Orchestra performed at Disney World’s Waterside Amphitheater.
