FUNDRAISING
NewMe Pies are at the Moon Township farmer's market every Wednesday from 3-6:00, at the Municipal Building.  So, if you are hungry for delicious fruit pies, please stop by.

Our first fundraiser is underway.  We are selling raffle tickets with winnings based on the September Pennsylvania 7 PM Daily Number.  Sales run through the month of August.
Tickets that were not picked up at the July Parent Meeting were mailed.  If you have any questions or did not receive your tickets, please contact
fundraising@moonband.org.
**Please return any tickets that you do not plan to sell as soon as possible.  We have some students asking for additional tickets and we do not have any available currently.

"Moon Area Tigers" light-up bracelets are available for purchase.  Each band is $5.00.  Profits benefit the general fund which benefits all band and orchestra students.  Order forms are available in the band room or
online.  A photo of the bracelets is also available online.

Our second fundraiser begins on Tuesday, August 15.  We will be selling delicious 16-inch hoagies and 6-inch pepperoni rolls from J&J Enterprises.  Order forms are due on September 7.  Information sheets and order forms will be available on the band website HERE or in the band room.

UPCOMING EVENTS AT HEINZ FIELD
If you are interested in working any Steelers or Pitt games at Heinz Field this season to raise funds for your student’s band or orchestra account, you must have a valid ServSafe certification and RAMP or TEAM certification.  It is not too late to do either of these and they can be completed on your own time!  Please contact Heather Park to find out more about this opportunity at hburakow@yahoo.com.  This is the best way to quickly raise enough money to pay for some or all of the upcoming Disney trip!  All current volunteers (both new and old) must turn in their Aramark Volunteer Forms to Heather before they can work any games.  The next event at Heinz Field is a Pitt game on Saturday, September 2nd with a report time of 9:30 AM.  Please email Heather if you are interested.
