Moon Area Band Parent Organization Meeting

February 6, 2018

This meeting agenda has been truncated to allow for time to focus on the details of the Florida trip and special instructions from Mr. Barthen.

 

President’s Comments, Sherri Von Stein

  1. Nominations Committee - We still need a couple of more volunteers to have a committee of 3-5 people.

    1. The group will review the Elections Procedure Manual

    2. The group will seek nominees for the election

    3. Nominations are open immediately after this meeting.

  2. Scholarship Committee - We need a couple of more people to form the committee of 3-4 people.

    1. Senior parents may not be members.

    2. Committee will evaluate applications for the MABPO Scholarships.

    3. Committee members will announce the winners at the May banquet.

  3. Monday, Feb 12 - Need a couple of more men to check boys luggage

  4. Tuesday, Feb 13 -

    1. Need more help to load luggage onto the buses.

    2. Need a couple more volunteers to check carry-on bags.

  5. Next meeting: March 8th at 7pm preceded at 6pm by a closed Executive Board Meeting.

Mr. Barthen, Mr. Fear, Ms. Iksic, Mrs. Martz, and Mr. Balaski presented information to parents/guardians and students regarding procedures and details pertaining to the Florida Performance Tour.
