Meeting began at 7:11 pm. The pledge of allegiance was recited.

Ralph gave the treasurer’s report. Motion to accept by Maria Johnston. Seconded by Sarah Schmitz.

Fundraising, Georganna Palmer

March 25th - Sarris and NewMe Pie pickup from 4:00-5:30. Help is needed sorting the orders!

Popcorn orders are due and will be delivered after Easter.

Mattress sale will be the Saturday after the marching band mini-camp in July.

Funderaisers help your kids — these are great ways to reduce out-of-pocket expense.

Please be aware of how the fundraisers help all the kids.

General fund covers only about half of the total budget. EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS!

RMU Takeout with a Twist signup ended today. Pickup at RMU loading dock at the events center.

Possible Globe car wash in April.

We need small businesses for tee sponsorship. Please send ideas to Maria.

 

Scholarship Committee, Sarah Schmitz

The commitee has met. Applications will go out on March 25th and are due April 16th.

Applications will only go out on email and on the website — NOT snail mail.

Get the golf registrations in!

Moon Twp Ford will sponsor the hole-in-one contest with a prize of a new car!

Signup genius has gone out for the basket raffles. We need donations! Signup genius will be sent again.

We will have at least 10 theme baskets and a 50/50 raffle.

Tee sponsorships are available for $100. Info is in the newsletter.

All members accepted their nominations except for Jackie Gilstrap, who was not present.

Motion to accept slate of candidates: Christianne Gribben. Seconded by Meghan Vreeland.

Voting will take place online during the April 22nd MABPO general membership meeting.

Winterguard is competing virtually. They got an excellent rating in OIPA. They competed in their first WGI competition ever! The season is over on March 28. We will know Sunday if they qualify for semi-finals. All shows are on FloMarching. It’s been an awesome season so far.

Jazz band is going well.

The spring musical is April 15-18. There are no winds in the pit orchestra.

May concert rehearsal dates are posted.

There is limited capacity for concerts. At this time, each child is allowed two spectators in the auditorium. The concert will also be live-streamed.

Marching band - football season and competitive season are planned

PIMBA - October 9th home show and championships are October 23rd at Gateway HS

Next year’s concerts are already scheduled.

The summer schedule is out. 

Band camp is still up in the air. We should know by June 1st what we are doing.

Charms - we’re going to start using the management tool. It’s a management app for performing arts groups. We’ll start using it on July 1st. No more papers! (except for the medical form) This program will organize our newsletter, uniform management, and the student financial section is great.
