Meeting called to order at 7:06pm. The pledge was recited.

Thank you all for coming.
Andrea is unable to make it tonight, Georganna will be leading the meeting.
Moon Band sends their sincerest condolences to Aliquippa Band and the loss of their member Neveah.
Treasurer, Karren Wood

Band Director, Nick Barthen
We had a good show this year, there were lots of people talking about it. They are commenting on the performance and not just the music, good feedback from Moon people.
We are waiting on W&J for next year’s summer schedule/away band camp.
Thank you for all the parent volunteer, chaperones, truck crew, uniforms and concessions for your hard work this past marching band season.
Rehearsal dates for the winter concert are posted on skyward, the website and in the newsletter.
- Winter Concert is Tuesday, December 17th @ 7:30pm.
- We need 6 volunteers to work the tables/collect donations, and 2 people to sit with the students in the band room, 1 symphonic parent and 1 band parent.
- Tables: Sarah Schmitz, Maria Johnston, Christine Snyder
- Concert band attire: dark dress pants and dress shirt for guys. Ladies dress nicely, be aware of skirt/dress length, they will be sitting up on a stage.
- Symphonic attire: tux and gowns
Symphonic band will perform for the school December 20th during school hours. Mr. Fear will conduct, Mr. Barthen will not be at school.
- Small ensemble gigs are posted on skyward, the website and in the newsletter.
- Moon light up night is Thursday, December 5th.
- Some small ensembles will play there as well as some of the elementary schools this month.
Pancake breakfast is Sunday, December 15th 8-12 noon. Volunteers are needed.
Jazz band auditions are the second week of December. No one is cut, they audition to be placed.
Spring musical is Little Shop of Horrors, the pit will start in January.
- VA trip is April 23rd-26th 2020.
- Second payment is due today.
- Next payment is $115 and due January 30th.
Winter guard is starting. We have a new drill writer and we are excited for this year’s show.
We are in need of someone to drive the box truck to competitions. Same show locations as last year.

We may be hosting a championship game at our stadium on November 29th and will need volunteers to work the concession stand. It will be an easy set up. Please sign up by next Tuesday.

NewMe pies and Chestnut Hill candles are in.
Black Friday raffle basket tickets and monies are due Tuesday.
- Pancake breakfast is Sunday, December 15th. Ticket are mailed out. $8 presale, $9 at the door.
- We are in need of bakers to bake cookie for the cookie walk. Please sign up on the sign-up genius.
- We need volunteers to set up the Saturday before.
- We need pancake flippers, servers, clean up, cookie walk, basket raffles and lots of helpers in all areas.
- Sign-ups for the students will be posted in the band room.
- Cookie drop off is Saturday 2pm-4pm. Or Sunday 6:30am-7”00am.
- We are looking for basket raffle donations, please contact Amy Patterson.
- Santa will be there and small ensembles will play.
Don’t forget to buy scrip cards. The funds go to the alumni which support the band.
Senior poll notes are down and ready to go home. They are $17. Please see Andrea
